Official Launch of the « Young Researcher, First Publication » Program: Giving African Research the Platform It Deserves

Afrimvoe Medical Systems and Afrimvoe Publishing Group (APG) are pleased to announce the official launch of their new flagship program: « Young Researcher, First Publication ». Designed to boost scientific production across the continent, this initiative marks a decisive turning point in supporting healthcare talent in Africa.

Why This Program?

How many Master’s dissertations or PhD theses remain stored away in drawers after defense? How many major discoveries, originating from African field studies or laboratories, never find their path to international visibility?

All too often, methodological hurdles, a lack of editorial mentorship, or the complexity of the submission process hold back young professionals from publishing. Through this program, Afrimvoe aims to change the game by transforming unpublished academic works into scientific articles of excellence recognized on an international scale.

Tailored Support: 40 Scholarships Available

For this first phase, the program provides 40 mentorship and publication scholarships. Selected candidates will benefit from comprehensive and rigorous support, including:

  • Personalized and free editorial mentorship provided by experienced scientific committees.
  • Technical guidance to structure manuscripts according to required international standards (IMRaD format and Vancouver reference style).
  • Targeted and privileged submission to our leading partner journals:
    • Health Research in Africa (HRA)
    • Health Sciences and Disease (HSD)
    • Advances in Clinical and Health Sciences (ACHS)
  • Publication free of charge, complete with a complimentary offprint to highlight the research effort.

Target Audience

This program is aimed at all healthcare professionals and researchers (general practitioners or specialists, dental surgeons, pharmacists, residents, Master’s or PhD students, researchers, and field practitioners) who have not yet published any scientific articles, but possess a firm ambition to showcase their first original research work.

How to Apply?

Interested candidates are invited to submit a complete application file consisting exclusively of 3 files in Word format:

  1. A cover / submission letter (1 page).
  2. The draft paper project (written in French or English, under 8,000 words, with an abstract of less than 300 words).
  3. A sworn declaration of research ethics (1 page).

Submission Process: Send your files by e-mail to nkooamvenesamuel@gmail.com, with a copy via WhatsApp message to +237 6 77 25 70 00.
